Build a 3D Rainforest Homework
Task:
To produce a 3-dimensional rainforest.
You need to include:
- The different layers of the rainforest e.g. canopy, emergent trees, shrub layer
- The plants that live there
- The animals that live there e.g. insects, reptiles, mammals and birds
You also need to show or explain the following:
- How the animals and plants interact (the food web)
- An explanation of how rainfall occurs in tropical rainforests
- You can do this seperately on paper or include it on your 3D model.
Preferably your model should be no bigger than A3 so that you will be able to transport your maodel yo school and display it easily within the classroom.
Optional ideas:
- Add a river to your model
- Add human settlements to your model
