Task:
To choose a settlement which you would like to investigate - it could be where you live or it could be somewhere you are interested in.
You should include:
A map of your settlement, that must be fully annotated (descriptive labels).

- Different types of housing (e.g. terraced, flats, semi-detached etc.) and their age (e.g. Victorian, 1930'w, 1960s, modern etc.)
- Types of land use (shopping centres, high street shopping areas, farm land, industrial estates etc.)
- Any famous landmarks (e.g. Big Ben, Elland Road Football Stadium)
- Public Buildings (e.g. Museums, galleries, town hall etc.)
You must also produce a factfile about your settlement.
You should include 10 facts or more about your settlement e.g. how many people live there, what country it is in, how has the settlement changed over time, important events that may take place there. Etc.
